History Sukhawati Thrift Store was founded in 2014 by a visionary who, after completing his studies in South Korea, returned to Nepal with a mission to combat textile waste. Inspired by sustainable practices abroad, he started an initiative to recycle and upcycle donated clothing, making fashion affordable and environmentally friendly in Nepal. As a registered non-profit organization, Sukhawati Thrift Store operates with a board of 12 members and employs 18 staff members, including 17 women
